Q. How can I access the Law Library's electronic resources when I am off campus?

Answer

Remote access to most library databases and electronic journals is available to current students, staff and faculty of Boston College. BC students must be currently enrolled in classes and listed as "active" with Student Services in order to sign in and use library resources from off-campus. Due to licensing terms, a small subset of resources is restricted to members of the Boston College Law School community. When accessing restricted library resources you will be prompted to enter your BC username and password.

Additional remote access information is available from the BC Information Technology Services Help Center.  Here you will find information on various options for connecting to the BC Network from both on and off campus. NOTE: A VPN connection is not needed to access the Libraries' electronic resources, only your BC credentials as mentioned above.

To report problems with the Libraries' electronic resources, complete the Online Access Problems form (sign in required) or call the Law Library Information Desk at 617-552-4434.
